We cannot have asked for a better day – it didn’t rain and it was slightly cooler.

The general bucket donations raised £1730.00 and a further £1000.00 was raised for the Mayor’s Appeal, People in Action, Oldbury Cottage Farm, The Gurkha Welfare Trust, George Eliot Hospital Charity and Birmingham Children’s’ Hospital.
Meanwhile the Town Centre was buzzing with the funfair, the entertainment stage and numerous stalls.
The Carnival Committee cannot thank everybody enough for all their hard work and contributions.
