Chair Person - Andy Sargeant

Andy is a passionate advocate for community groups, dedicated to fostering collaboration and strengthening local networks. Actively involved in organizing and supporting community-driven initiatives. Andy works to empower groups by providing resources, facilitating connections, and promoting inclusivity. Through leadership, advocacy, and hands-on engagement, Andy helps create spaces where people can come together, share ideas, and drive meaningful change,

Secretary - Aimee Wildsmith

Aimee is a dedicated College Resources Leader with a strong background in administration, management, and education. Known for her creativity and kind, caring nature, she excels in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Aimee is a passionate team player and a mother of two boys, bringing her bubbly personality and enthusiasm to every aspect of her work.

Outside of her professional life, Aimee enjoys art, taking walks with her puppy, and socialising with friends and family. Her diverse interests and warm demeanor make her a valued member of any team. Aimee is thrilled to collaborate with the team to ensure the carnival runs seamlessly. Her enthusiasm and dedication are key to making the event a success.

Treasurer - Steven Male

My name is Steven and I have been part of the Scout movement since I was 8 years of age it has been a massive part of my life and have shaped the person I have become today. I have achieved many things whilst being part of the movement such The Queen Scout Award and The Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award in 1992, I have also trained to be a bushcraft instructor and an Axe Throwing Instructor. In my professional career, I have worked for an outsourcing company for 22 years where we help and assist clients across the public and private sectors. We're a vital support service for our clients, enabling the everyday interactions that we expect to run seamlessly, to run seamlessly. Outside of work and scouts I am a father to 3 wonderful children and a Grandfather to 3 amazing Grandchildren. When I have spare time, I love to walk, swim and enjoy outdoor life and wherever it may take me.

Treasurer - David Hawley

Procession Lead - Matt Oulton

My name is Matt and I have lived in Nuneaton for the last 27 years. Professionally I work in Temporary Traffic Management as a design engineer but started my career working in event traffic management. I have been at some of the UK’s biggest events in the last 15 years from the Papal visit to Eton Dorney rowing venue for the 2012 olympics. I hope my vast experience working in event traffic management and temporary traffic management, paired with my drive for excellence will help to ensure a smooth and well delivered carnival for the Nuneaton community to enjoy. Away from work I like to do some fundraising once or twice a year picking a challenge to me physically, after all I am a larger sized fellow. When it’s just time to relax there’s nothing better than spending time with my kids or watching football.

Community Lead - Jayne Sargeant

With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, Jayne has made significant contributions to the retail industry. As an Area Manager, she demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision, overseeing multiple store locations and driving operational excellence.

Recently diagnosed with heart failure, Jayne approaches this new challenge with the same resilience and determination that defined her career. She is committed to maintaining a positive outlook and supporting but ensuring she takes more of a backseat role within the committee.

Now enjoying retirement, Jayne actively engages in socializing, meeting new people and spending quality time with friends and family, balancing her time between her 3 girls and 9 grand children.

Community Lead - Adam Blower

With 20 years of experience in building management within the education sector, Adam is a dedicated professional known for his expertise and commitment to excellence. As a father of four, and all round family man, Adam understands the importance of creating safe and inclusive environments for learning and growth, showing compassion and empathy in everything he does. Beyond his professional achievements, he is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoying walking, hiking, and cycling. Adam is deeply committed to his community, he is looking forward working with the team to make the carnival come alive and run smoothly. His dedication to both his professional field and his community reflects his well-rounded and compassionate character, making him a respected leader and valued member of his community.
